Butterfly in the Sky will be screened in partnership with the Friends of the Vaughn Library
The Bay Area Film Society is proud to announce that our next film, Butterfly in the Sky, will be screened in partnership with the Friends of the Vaughn Library in promotion of the newly formed Ashland Adult Literacy group.
There will be two showings of this wonderfully produced, Reading Rainbow-centered documentary: one at 5 pm and the other at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 24th @ the Bay Theater. The first showing will be FREE to the public.
That’s right: Totally! Completely! Free!
The Ashland Adult Literacy group is seeking volunteers to serve as tutors to meet the needs of those interested in improving their literacy skills. As a member of Wisconsin Literacy, Ashland Adult Literacy provides free access to training and materials for their tutors.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a tutor for adult literacy, please contact Sarah Adams of the Vaughn Public Library: 715-685-1668 or sadams@vaughnlibrary.org. Information can also be found on Vaughn’s website: www.vaughnlibrary.org.
See you at the movies!
