Polyfaces will be screened in partnership with Wisconsin Farmers Union
BAFS is proud to work as a partner to screen the documentary Polyfaces on Thursday, April 20th at 7 pm with the Ashland/Bayfield Chapter of the Wisconsin Farmers Union. Located in the stunning Shenandoah Valley in Northern Virginia, Polyface’s own lunatic farmer (Joel Salatin) works overtime to connect the farm to the community. This powerful film explains how farms can regenerate landscapes, community, local economy, customer health, and most importantly their soils. These are the techniques that the union supports and encourages. This screening will be at the historic Bay Theater in downtown Ashland and is FREE to the public. Members of the local chapter of the Ashland/Bayfield chapter will be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions afterward. For inquiries contact info@wisconsinfarmersunion.com.
